Revision Due, explained: the card that stops you forgetting what you learnt
The problem it solves
Here is something every JAIIB aspirant has experienced. You practise 40 questions on a Tuesday, get 12 wrong, read the explanations, nod, and move on. Two weeks later the same question turns up in a mock — and you get it wrong again. Your brain never actually filed it.
Memory researchers found the fix decades ago: see the thing again just before you would forget it — not immediately (too easy), not months later (already gone). Each time you recall it successfully, the gap before the next reminder can grow. This is called spaced repetition, and it is the single most reliable study technique known.
Doing this by hand — keeping a diary of every wrong answer and its due date — is impossible when you have 700 questions in play. So the Mock Centre does it for you. That is all Smart Revision is: a diary of your wrong answers with automatic due dates. "Revision Due" is the page of that diary for today.
Where to find it
Log in and look at your home screen. The third card from the top is Revision due. The big number in the top row of your dashboard ("Revision due") is the same figure.
The three little chips under the heading tell you what kind of questions are in your diary overall — not just today:
- 🔴 New mistakes — questions you got wrong and have not yet answered correctly on a due date.
- 🟡 Weak (passed once) — you got them right at the first review; they are due again after 7 days.
- 🟢 Refreshers — you have passed two reviews; one more correct answer, after 15 days, and they graduate for good.
The same reminder also appears as a thin orange strip at the top of the Mocks, Units, Course, Videos, Map and Analytics pages — "Revision due — 19 before they fade" — so you cannot wander off and forget it.

How to use it — the daily routine
The Smart Revision page (the full diary)
Tap Smart Revision in the grid of tiles on the home screen, or the brain icon anywhere, to see the whole diary rather than just today's page.
- In the system — every question currently in your diary, at any stage.
- Due today — the ones whose date has arrived (this is the number on the home card).
- Reviews passed — how many due-date reviews you have answered correctly, ever.
- 1 review from 🏆 — questions that have passed the 2-day and 7-day reviews and only need the 15-day one.
The three bars underneath are the three boxes from the previous section. A healthy diary has a shrinking red bar and growing yellow and green ones. Revise due (N) starts today's session; Practice all runs through the entire diary regardless of dates — useful the week before the exam. Only the questions that are actually due move forward when you get them right (early answers do not count), so it does not replace the daily session.
Why it matters more than one more mock
A mock tells you what you do not know. Revision Due is the only feature that makes sure you stop not knowing it. It also feeds your Readiness Score: ten of the hundred points come from "revision health" — how much of your diary is overdue. Let it pile up and your score drops; keep it clear and the points are free.
Common questions
- Does a wrong answer in Exam mode also go into the diary?
- Yes. Every wrong answer from every mode goes in — unit practice, module mocks, full mocks, the Daily 10 and revision sessions themselves.
- I got a question right in a mock last week. Why is it still due?
- Because it was not due at that time. Only a correct answer on or after the due date counts. Check the date logic above — it is deliberate.
- What is a good number of questions "in the system"?
- There is no bad number, only an ignored one. Serious students carry 100–300 questions at any time while clearing 10–25 a day. What matters is that "Due today" is near zero when you go to bed.
- Can I revise from my phone?
- Yes — the same account works on two devices and progress is synced, so the diary you build on the laptop is due on the phone during the commute.
