Study Today, explained: let the Mock Centre decide your next 30 minutes

In one lineYou should never spend your study time deciding what to study. The Today recommendation on the home screen, the three quick cards, and the Study Today page (Diagnose → Study → Prove it) each answer one question: what is the best thing to do right now?

The problem it solves

Working bankers do not fail JAIIB for lack of material. They fail because on a Tuesday night with 40 minutes and a tired brain, the question "what should I do?" has no answer, so they re-read the chapter they already know, or scroll, or open a mock they are not ready for and feel worse. The Mock Centre removes the decision. Every time you open it, it has already looked at your data and picked.

Level 1 — the "Today:" line on the home screen

Inside the JAIIB Readiness card there is a highlighted line that starts with Today:.

Today's recommendation: revise your due questions — about 14 minutes, worth roughly +2 readiness. Tap it and the session opens.
Today's recommendation: revise your due questions — about 14 minutes, worth roughly +2 readiness. Tap it and the session opens.

This is not a random tip. The app checks a fixed list, in this order, and shows the first thing that is true:

Ten or more questions due in Revision? → "Revise your due questions" (8–30 minutes). Forgotten questions are the cheapest marks to recover, so they always come first.
Any module under 45% accuracy? → "Fix <module>": watch the unit video, then re-drill its questions (~25 minutes).
A subject with no test in the last 7 days? → "Mock day: <subject>" (~45 minutes) — the weakest such subject first. This keeps your Readiness Score honest.
Under 60 days to your exam date and units still untouched? → "New ground in <subject>": cover the next unit in the subject with the lowest coverage.
Nothing urgent? → "Maintain the streak": the Daily 10 plus a few revision questions (~12 minutes).

Every recommendation shows two numbers: the minutes it takes and the effect on your score ("+2 readiness", "+3 on PPB", "unlocks prediction"). So when you have 25 minutes, you know exactly which 25 minutes to spend.

Level 2 — the three quick cards

The quick cards just below the Readiness card: your revision queue, today's Daily 10, and your weakest module with its accuracy.

Level 3 — the Study Today page: Diagnose → Study → Prove it

Tap the Study Today tile (the first tile in the grid) or the "Guided mode" link under the Readiness card. This is for days when you want to be walked through, not just told.

The Study Today page. Step 1 is live; steps 2 and 3 unlock as you go. The banner shows your overall readiness across the subjects you own.

Diagnose — take today's diagnostic. It is the Daily 10: ten mixed questions, two minutes. This is not for marks; it wakes up your streak and gives the app fresh evidence about what is shaky today.
Study your prescription. The same recommendation engine as the home screen, now tuned with this morning's answers. Press Open → to do it, then Mark as studied ✓.
Prove your progress. The app names your weakest unit — the one with the lowest accuracy among units you have answered at least 6 questions in — and asks for a short re-test in Exam mode. The result is shown against your previous accuracy in that unit: "improved by 14 points 🎉", "held steady", or "dipped; revise the unit video and retry tomorrow".

The loop resets every morning. Do it daily for two weeks and you will have fourteen small, measured improvements in fourteen weak units — which is what "getting better" actually looks like, as opposed to feeling busy.

Level 4 — "Only 30 minutes today?"

At the bottom of the Subject Progress card. For the days when even the loop is too much: one tap builds a half hour — 10 minutes learn, 10 MCQs, 5 on mistakes, 5 of due revision — and ticks the blocks off. It is covered in guide 2.

Common questions

The recommendation keeps saying "Revise your due questions". Is it stuck?
No — you keep having 10+ questions due, so revision keeps winning. Clear them and the next priority appears. This is the app doing its job.
Step 3 says it will unlock later. Why?
It needs a weakest unit with at least 6 answered questions. After a few days of steps 1–2 there is enough data.
Can I ignore the recommendation and do my own plan?
Of course. Set your exam date in My Planner and you get a day-by-day schedule that adapts to your mock scores. The recommendation is the answer to "what now?"; the planner is the answer to "what this month?".
