Privacy Policy

1. What we collect, and why

When you buy: name, email address, phone number, and state (required by GST law for your tax invoice). This is the minimum needed to deliver your order, issue an invoice, and provide support.
When you register for the free demo on the Online Mock Centre: your full name, email address (it becomes your login), mobile number, city, state and intended JAIIB attempt, plus an optional sex field, and your password (stored only in hashed form by our login provider, Supabase). Name, mobile, city and state let us send exam-cycle reminders and, if you later buy, issue a GST invoice without asking again. We then store your practice activity (scores, progress, revision queue) so the app can work for you across devices.
When you fill a contact/lead form: whatever you type into it — typically name, email, and your question.
When you use the "Need help?" chat assistant: the messages you type, the page you were on, an anonymous device identifier, your IP address and — if you are logged in to the Mock Centre — your account ID. Please do not type passwords, card details or other sensitive information into the chat. Answers are generated by an AI model (Anthropic Claude) from your message and our own product/course information; conversations are stored so we can review answer quality and follow up on support questions.
Payment details: we never see or store your card, UPI or bank credentials. Payment is handled entirely by Razorpay on their secure systems (Razorpay privacy policy).

2. What we do with it

We use your details to deliver purchases, issue GST invoices, provide login access, answer support requests, send order confirmations, errata/law-update emails for the current exam cycle, and — if you joined our samples/reminder list — the emails you asked for. We do not sell or rent your personal data to anyone. We do not run third-party advertising on this website.

3. Who processes data for us

Razorpay — payment processing.
Supabase — secure database and login infrastructure for orders and the Mock Centre.
Brevo — transactional emails (order confirmations, password resets) sent from noreply@sjalearning.in.
Anthropic — generates the replies of the "Need help?" chat assistant from the messages you send it (Anthropic privacy policy).
FormSubmit — relays contact/lead form submissions to our support inbox.
Hostinger — website hosting.
Google Analytics — aggregate visitor statistics for the public website pages.

Each provider receives only what it needs to perform its function.

4. Cookies, analytics and local storage

The website uses your browser's local storage for functional purposes — e.g. remembering your cart, your login session on the Mock Centre, and whether you've already seen a popup. We use Google Analytics to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the public pages of the website (pages visited, approximate location, device type); it sets its own cookies for this purpose (Google privacy policy). Analytics is not loaded on order-confirmation pages, and we do not use advertising cookies or sell data to advertisers.

5. How long we keep data

Purchase and invoice records are retained as required by Indian tax law. Mock Centre accounts and progress are retained for the duration of access plus a reasonable period afterwards. Lead-form entries are kept only as long as they are useful for responding to you. Chat-assistant conversations are kept for up to 12 months.

6. Your rights

Write to us at collabwithsjha@gmail.com to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you (invoice records we must legally retain are excluded from deletion), or to unsubscribe from any non-essential email. We reply within a day.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS and stored with access controls on our providers' infrastructure. Order pages are protected by unguessable order IDs known only to the purchaser; credentials are never sent by email in plain text alongside identifying context beyond what delivery requires.

8. Children

Our products are intended for banking professionals preparing for JAIIB and are not directed at children under 18.

9. Changes

Any changes to this policy will be published on this page with an updated effective date.
