Six mocks in, your scores read 52, 61, 48, 66, 58, 63. Are you ready? Every mock platform will give you that list of percentages. Not one of them answers the question — because a mock percentage only tells you how one paper went. It says nothing about the units you have never opened, the questions you got wrong three weeks ago and will get wrong again, or whether you are finishing in time.
So we built an intelligence layer into the SJA Mock Centre that does three jobs a percentage cannot: it tells you whether you are on track (Readiness Score), where the marks are leaking (Exam Intelligence), and what to do in the next hour (the daily loop and Smart Revision). This article explains exactly how each one works — the actual formula, not marketing — so you can use it deliberately.
The score is computed from your own practice data, separately for AFM, PPB, IE&IFS and RBWM. Five ingredients go in, with fixed weights:
The result lands in one of three bands:
Three design decisions matter here. First, mocks are weighted by recency, so a bad first attempt stops dragging you down once you improve — your trajectory counts, not your history. Second, coverage is scored separately from mocks, because it is entirely possible to score 70% on mocks that happen to draw from the half of the syllabus you know, and then meet the other half on exam day. Third, accuracy only starts counting after 20 questions, so a lucky five-question streak cannot inflate the number.
Open the full report (Dashboard → Readiness → Full report) and two more things appear once you have a few mocks behind you.
Predicted mock-day range. Instead of a single number we show a range — for example 54–66% — taken from the average and spread of your recent mocks (never narrower than ±5 points). If the range sits above the pass mark with room to spare, you are consistent; if it straddles the pass line, the paper's difficulty on the day decides your result, and your job is to shift the whole range upward, not to hunt for a lucky paper.
The mark-loss map. Every module carries an estimated share of the paper, in proportion to its share of the audited question bank (which follows the syllabus weight). We multiply that share by your error rate in the module. The result is expressed in marks: "PPB Module A — you are losing about 9 marks here (it carries ~24, you are at 62%)". Modules are sorted by marks lost, not by accuracy — so a 55% score in a module worth 24 marks is flagged above a 40% score in a module worth 6. That ordering is the whole point: it points you at the revision with the largest payoff.
The dashboard card that says Today: … is not a random tip. It runs a fixed priority list against your data every time you open the app:
Each recommendation shows the time it takes and the effect it should have on your score, so a working banker with 25 minutes at 11 pm knows exactly which 25 minutes to spend.
If you prefer being walked through the day rather than choosing, use Guided mode (Dashboard → 🎯 Guided mode). It runs the same three-step loop every day:
Every question you answer wrong enters your personal revision queue. It comes back after 2 days, then 7, then 15; answer it correctly at each of the three reviews and it graduates as conquered, answer it wrong at any point and the cycle restarts from 2 days. Getting it right before it is due does not count as a review — the gap is the point. This is spaced repetition — the same principle behind every serious memory system — applied only to your mistakes, so the queue is never bigger than it needs to be.
Two things make it work in practice. The Revision due card on your home screen shows the queue with a one-tap 12-minute session, so revision is never a separate decision you have to make. And the queue feeds back into the Readiness Score (the "revision health" 10 points), which means letting mistakes pile up visibly costs you — a small, useful pressure.

Watch two numbers weekly: the Readiness Score should climb, and the predicted range should narrow. Rising score with a wide range means inconsistency — more Exam-mode mocks. Flat score with a narrow range means you have plateaued — go after the top of the mark-loss map.
It is an estimate from your own practice data, and it is only as honest as your practice: mocks taken in Exam mode with the timer, not paused and googled. More mocks tighten the range; a first mock gives a rough number.
