If you are appearing for JAIIB in the November 2026 cycle, here is everything that matters in one place: the paper dates, the registration window, and a study plan that fits around a full-time banking job.
| Paper | Subject | Date |
|---|---|---|
| Paper 1 | Indian Economy & Indian Financial System (IE&IFS) | 1 November 2026 |
| Paper 2 | Principles & Practices of Banking (PPB) | 22 November 2026 |
| Paper 3 | Accounting & Financial Management for Bankers (AFM) | 28 November 2026 |
| Paper 4 | Retail Banking & Wealth Management (RBWM) | 29 November 2026 |
Notice the gaps. There are three weeks between IE&IFS and PPB, then the last three papers land within eight days of each other (22, 28, 29 November). That back-loaded calendar punishes anyone who plans to "study each subject just before its paper" — there simply isn't time between AFM and RBWM.
The exam tests current law, and 2025–26 changed an unusual amount of it: GST slabs were restructured, bank nomination rules were rewritten, MSME classification limits were revised. If your notes were printed before these changes, you will confidently mark wrong answers. We keep a running list — see 15+ law changes your textbook doesn't know.
